In order to better understand our partner’s needs and desires, we surveyed 100+ bike partners in-person on via the phone to identify pain-points in their their experience as an UBER partner.

Through our research we found that the partners needed a stronger sense of community, access to parts and bicycles at an affordable price, and a way to access these perks via our partner app.

We implemented a comprehensive action plan to enhance the experience of our Uber partners, focusing on community building, seamless app integration for e-bike rentals, and strategic partnerships for reduced-cost bike parts and rentals. The following initiatives were instrumental in achieving remarkable results:
Establish online platforms like dedicated Facebook groups for Uber partners to foster a sense of community, enabling knowledge exchange, event planning, and peer support.
Integrate a new app feature that allows partners to easily locate e-bike rentals near their location, streamlining their operations and improving efficiency.
Create partnerships with local and online vendors to offer bike parts and rentals at reduced costs, incentivizing and supporting partners in bike ownership and maintenance.

In just two months, we formed vital alliances with Amega, Urban Cyclist, and Zoomo, resulting in exclusive perks for our partners, particularly in bike ownership and maintenance. These collaborations allowed us to offer discounted bike purchase rates, as well as reduced prices for repairs and parts, making it easier and more affordable for people to join the bike-based transportation industry. The attractive financial incentives and support attracted a wider range of potential partners while also nurturing loyalty and dedication among our existing partners. These strategic partnerships set our platform apart, making it a compelling option for aspiring bike delivery professionals, leading to a substantial surge in Uber partners within a short timeframe.

To enhance the experience of our bike partners, we implemented an innovative feature within the partner app that revolutionized their rental process. By integrating a new section specifically designed for bike partners, we introduced a convenient geo-location functionality that enabled them to easily locate e-bike rentals across the city—all within the same app they use for managing their work. This integration eliminated the need for partners to switch between multiple apps or platforms to find available bikes during their working hours. By seamlessly integrating this feature, we not only saved our partners valuable time and effort but also ensured a more integrated and enjoyable experience. This streamlined approach to finding pick-up and drop-off points within the app improved efficiency and productivity, ultimately empowering our bike partners to focus more on their rides and provide top-notch service to customers.
